"A power-gauntlet-and-flail-combo set, perfect for devastating attacks. Pressing the Strong Attack button allows you to pick up and throw enemies."
— In-game description
Gauntlets are a weapon class used by Link in Hyrule Warriors. While wielding it, Link fights using a pair of gauntlets and a heavy ball and chain, using them to smash enemies aside, burrow underground, and pick up and throw objects.
Variations
- Silver Gauntlets: The Level 1 variation. Based on the namesake item from Ocarina of Time. The wrecking ball used is the Ball and Chain from Twilight Princess.
- Golden Gauntlets: The Level 2 variation. Based on the namesake item from Ocarina of Time. The wrecking ball used is a golden version of the Ball and Chain.
- Power Gloves: The Level 3 variation. The gauntlets are silver, with orange jewels embedded into the knuckles and sides. The wrecking ball used is based on a Chain Chomp.
- 8-Bit Power Bracelet: The Level ★ variation. A pair of the namesake item in The Legend of Zelda, with black gloves and rendered in 3D. The wrecking ball used is a 3D render of the Raft, attached to a green rope.
- Power Gloves +: The Level 4 variation. Identical to the Power Gloves, but much more powerful.
- Burning Gloves: The Level 4+ variation, which adds Fire as a secondary element. Identical to the Power Gloves, but with a red color scheme.
