Breath of the Wild
East Castle Town is part of the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, located just south of Hyrule Castle. There is a dangerous Guardian Stalker and Decayed Guardian, both within the vicinity.
There are a pair of treasure chests in the area, one is underneath a slab in the shallow water, and it contains an Amber gem. A second is in the buildings just to the west and it has a Purple Rupee.

Tears of the Kingdom
East Castle Town is part of the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, located just north of Lookout Landing. The area is littered with treasure chests in the area, most of which require the use of Ultrahand to pull out of the ground.
- Blue Rupee - Directly east of the Kyononis Shrine, partially in the ground near a small tree.
- Amber - Just north of the pathway that runs east-west. It is partially buried in the ground near a tree.
- Red Rupee - In the shallow water at the northeast part of the area. It is in the water, but partially underground.
- Sapphire - In the slightly deeper water at the east end of the area.
- Wooden Bow - At the southeast part of the area, partially buried underground. It is located between two tall dead trees.
- Green Rupee - In the ruins of a building at the southeast part of the area. The chest is standing in the corner, fully intact.
- Red Rupee - Southeast of Central Square, in between numerous trees. It is partially buried underground.
Korok Seed
- Just east of the Central Square, there is a building that is in ruins. Link can look up to find a tree circle on the ceiling. Use Ascend through the tree circle to get the Korok Seed.
