Purpen

Purpen is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Purpen can be found at the First Gatehouse just outside of Hyrule Castle. He is examining different weapons and has found that all the weapons he has come across have suddenly decayed due to the Upheaval.[1][2] Purpen has traveled to many different regions throughout Hyrule and the results are all the same. All the weapons have decayed.[3]

He suggests that they are too much of a pain to repair and it's best to just strengthen them instead, which Link can do using his Fuse ability.[4]
