Nuranuru move slowly around and can be easily destroyed by most weapons. Two swipes with the Master Sword will defeat them. Usually at the point when Link encounters a Nuranuru he already has the Blue Mail. With the added armor, Link will still take two hearts of damage if he contacts a Nuranuru. Nuranuru also later found within Turtle Rock and Ganon's Tower.

Trivia

  • A similar enemy known as a Sluggula is featured in The Minish Cap. They only appear in Minish dungeons and caves. Unlike Nuranuru, they can't lay bombs in their path.
