The Green Male is Link's starting Tunic in A Link to the Past. With the exceptions of The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Spirit Tracks, and Skyward Sword, Link always begins his quest with a Green tunic. In several Zelda titles, Link never acquires a second tunic, but often times other items or abilities will cause the color of his tunic to change. The names of the various tunics that Link acquires vary from game to game.
A Link to the Past
Link begins the game with the Green Tunic, or Green Jerkin as it is also referred to as. Link will later be able to upgrade his Tunic be acquiring the Blue Mail and the Red Mail.
