The Fire Shield or Red Shield is a more powerful version of the Fighter's Shield as it can protect Link against small fireballs shot from enemies, found in A Link to the Past and BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets.
A Link to the Past
There are two ways to obtain this shield:
- Purchase it in a store for around 500 Rupees
- Exchange the Fighter's Shield for this shield in the Waterfall of Wishing
Getting this shield is optional, rather than required to finish the game.
