The White Sword is the second sword you will recieve in the original The Legend of Zelda game. It is located inside the cave at the top of the waterfall just West of the Lost Hills and is twice as powerful as the Wooden Sword. In order to be eligible for the sword upgrade, Link will have to accumulate at least five Heart Containers.

The White Sword has also appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, as well as The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.
