Flag Race is a mini-game from Echoes of Wisdom.
Echoes of Wisdom
The Flag Race can be found at the Hyrule Ranch in Hyrule Field. Zelda cannot enter it until she has obtained her own horse by completing the Impa's Gift side quest, the Flag Race cannot be started with a rental horse.
Head to Hyrule Ranch and talk to Falfa (the blonde girl with a carrot hair pin) while seated on Zelda's horse. There are three courses - Short, Middle and Long - each costing 10 rupees per attempt.
- Short course is a lap on the inside of the ranch while collecting 6 flags and avoiding or jumping over obstacles.
The clear time for the Short course is 23 seconds or 17 seconds for the mastery. Completing the Course under 23 seconds will reward 20 rupees while completing it below 17 seconds will reward 3 Might Crystals on first clear.
- Medium course will have you do a course starting at the south entrance of the Ranch and running on the east outside, collecting 5 flags and avoiding or jumping over obstacles.
The clear time for Medium course is 25 seconds and mastery is 20 seconds. Completing the course below 25 seconds will reward the Prismatic Music Box and below 20 seconds will reward a Piece of Heart on first clear.
- Long course will once again take you outside of the ranch on the south-east side then into the north of the ranch.
The clear time for Long course is 50 seconds and the mastery is 40 seconds. Completing the course below 50 seconds will reward 50 rupees and below 40 seconds will reward the Charging Horn accessory.
