Skorchill is the boss that appears in Echoes of Wisdom.
Echoes of Wisdom
Skorchill appears as the boss within the Lanayru Temple. The boss will spin around on the ice, trying to launch itself at Zelda. After a short while it will stop and begin to stomp around, causing stalactites to fall from the ceiling.
Later in the battle, Skorchill will swap out its helmet, this time putting one on with fire horns on it. During this phase, Skorchill will launch fire attacks in a circular pattern towards Zelda. The fireballs will stay on the ground for a period of time and Zelda will need to avoid them. Skorchill will also launch a much large whirlwind fire blast.
Strategy
Skorchill has three icey horns on its head and Zelda can use a Fire Keese Echo to attack the boss. After all three horns have been thawed out, the ice-layer surround Skorchill's body will be removed. This will allow Zelda to deal direct damage to Skorchill using her sword or one of the many Echoes.
After enough hits, Skorchill will swap out its helmet with one that has three fire horns on it. This time around, Zelda will need to use an ice-based attack, such as that of an Ice Keese Echo. The echo will launch itself at the helmet, removing the fire horns. After all three horns are removed, Zelda can deal damage to Skorchills main body.
Skorchill will then put on a helmet that has one fire eye and one ice eye, and it will deal both fire and ice attacks. Attack the helmet with the opposite element to what is on the horns. Repeat this process until Skorchill is defeated. The boss will leave behind a Heart Container.
