Finding the Flying Plant is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

After completing the Suthorn Ruins, Zelda can speak with the man found at the southwest part of Suthorn Village. He wants to cheer up his wife, Oethera by bringing her something rare.
