Shai Yota Shrine is one of the many Shrine of Trials from Breath of the Wild.
Requirements
Shrine Quest: Master of the Wind
- Main article: Master of the Wind
Speak to Kass to start this quest, but doing so is not required to activate the Shrine. You will find him on the land just south west of Horon Lagoon (you'll hear his music when you're close). If you head south of where Kass is standing, you'll see a large rock that somewhat resembles a U on the map. Wind is blowing against this structure from various directions, but some of the wind is blocked off due to the rocks. Make your way around and blow up the four sets of boulders, causing the wind to blow free.
When all the wind is free to blow, head to the northeast corner of the U, and paraglide all the way to the glowing platform. If you put away your paraglider before your feet touch ground, it does not count. Landing while still holding the paraglider will complete the quest and unlock the shrine. Another solution is if you have Revali's Gale you can stand on the pedestal and use it and the Shrine of Trials will still appear.
Shai Yota's Blessing
After all that effort, the shrine itself contains no challenges at all. Simply move forward, open the chest for a Great Flameblade, and then examine the altar for a well-earned Spirit Orb.
