And then show me! I'm pretty picky about pictures, too. If you get one, make sure at least the statue's upper half is visible, OK? Oh, and here... If you'd like, you can use these. The Eighth Heroine, also known as The Bronze Giant, is a landmark from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Breath of the Wild

The Seven Heroines are massive statues found at the East Gerudo Ruins, just southwest of the Wasteland Tower. They play a part in The Seven Heroines shrine quest, given by Rotana in Gerudo Town. However, a rumored eighth heroine was believed to exist, with rumors of its appearance up in the Gerudo Highlands.[2]

The Eighth Heroine is found at the northwest end of the Gerudo Highlands, located just north of the Risoka Snowfield.

The Eighth Heroine

Main article: The Eighth Heroine

Link can find Bozai, a Hylian male running around the perimeter of Gerudo Town. If Link speaks to him while wearing the Gerudo Clothes, Bozai will task Link with finding and taking a picture of the Eighth Heroine. Although Bozai doesn't actually think that the Eighth Heroine exists, and instead, is putting Link up to this task, just so that he can get closer to him.[3] After Link finds the statue and takes a picture of it, he can return to Bozai to show it to him. Bozai will reluctantly agree to give the Sand Boots as a reward.[4]

Nearby Korok Seeds

The seed platform for this race is at the top of the cliff to the northeast. Race to the ring while making use of the nearby updrafts.

Glide to the ring before the time runs out, using the updrafts.

Use one Octo Balloon, then pop it shortly after it fly. Or you can try the hard way. Push the boulders at the top of the cliff into the hole at the bottom. Pushing them gently towards the south makes it easier without having them fall off the cliff.

Push a boulder into the hole. It's easier to get the boulder close to the hole, then push or use Stasis, rather than to aim directly for the hole.

Trivia

The statue's position and orientation, compared to the Seven Heroines statues
  • The statue of the Eighth was carved out of the redstone of the Gerudo Highlands, it's the only statue of its kind that its still embedded on the rock wall and whose sword is entirely separated from it, suggesting that its carving may have been abandoned midway. The fact that it's made of redstone suggests that it was never moved to its location from the other statues.
  • The statue points to the northeast, which is exactly the direction it would face if it were included with the Seven Heroines statues.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Statue of the Eighth Heroine can be found at the northwest end of the Gerudo Highlands, up the hill from the Hemaar's Descent. The area around the statue is very cold, requiring two levels of Cold Resistance in order to survive.

Just to the northwest of the statue itself, there is a treasure chest on top of some Zonai Ruins that contains three Mirrors.

Statue of the Eighth Heroine Cave

Main article: Statue of the Eighth Heroine Cave

The entrance to the cave is found on top of the statue, but it is initially closed off. Just northwest of the statue, open the chest to get some Mirrors. When it is sunny, shine a mirror from the platform with the treasure chest, so it reflects onto the receptor. The sun will cause the cave to open.

Inside, there are some Gibdos and a Moth Gibdo, which protect a treasure chest that contains Tingle's Hood.

Korok Seed

  • Just underneath the entrance to the cave, there is a rock on the ledge. Lift it up to get the Korok Seed.
