Hebra East Summit is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Hebra East Summit is a massive mountain range found at the east side of the Hebra Mountains. The entire mountain range is bitterly cold, requiring Link to be wearing an armor set with high-level Cold Resistance, such as the Snowquill Set, in order to survive the harsh conditions for extended periods of time. The summit includes the Hebra Peak, which is the highest and one of the coldest points in all of Hyrule. During the overnight hours, when it is snowing, temperatures could drop to -59 °C (-75 °F) at some parts near the peak.

The cold climate will hold a variety of cold creatures and enemies. There are several Snowcoat Foxes and Cold-Footed Wolves that can be found running around on the mountain range. At lower elevations, there are a few Great-Horned Rhinoceroses and Tabantha Moose as well. Additionally, enemy Snow Octoroks, Ice Keese, Frost Pebblits, and Ice-Breath Lizalfos can be found throughout the region. All of these ice-based enemies can be vaporized instantly with a single shot from a fire-based weapon or a Fire Arrow.

At the southeast part of the summit, there is a massive wind tunnel, which blows air up, allowing Link to use his Paraglider and quick ascend to a higher peak on the mountain. Just to the northwest of where the wind tunnel stops blowing, there is a treasure chest buried in the snow, which contains five Ice Arrows.

Just northwest of the Hebra Peak, a bit down the mountain, there is a series of frozen ice blocks. Link can use a Fire Arrow, a fire-infused weapon, or create a campfire to melt the ice. The large ice block in the area has a Black Lizalfos encased within, with one of the small ice blocks nearby preserving a treasure chest, which contains five Shock Arrows.

There are a few Koroks to be found on and adjacent to the Hebra East Summit. One is underneath a rock at the very top of Hebra Peak. Another is just southwest of the peak and the Goma Asaagh Shrine, where there is a Korok beneath a rock, hidden underneath some large boulders. At the far east end of the summit, there is a pair of trees with a circle of rocks. Placing the missing rocks in their proper spots to get the Korok Seed. One more Korok can be revealed by examining the fairy lights atop the dead tree, located at the northeastern part of the summit.

Behind the blocks of ice, Link will find the Goma Asaagh Shrine. Link will need to melt the pedestal so he can place his Sheikah Slate inside, in order to access the shrine.

The Goma Asaagh Shrine is A Major Test of Strength. Defeat the Guardian Scout IV and open the treasure chest to get a Royal Claymore. Then run up to the altar and speak with Goma Asaagh to receive a Spirit Orb.

Salvager Trousers

Main article: Salvager Trousers

As part of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 side quest, Link can travel up to Hebra Peak. From the peak of the mountain, if Link looks to the southeast at nighttime, he will see and hear a distinctive red shooting star. It will crash into the mountain, just southeast of the peak. If Link travels to the area, he'll find a glowing red treasure chest. Inside there is the Salvager Trousers, a part of the Salvager Set.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hebra East Summit is found within the Hebra Mountains. The summit includes Hebra Peak, which is connected to the Rising Island Chain in the Sky, which leads up to the Stormwind Ark. The area is very cold, requiring high-level Cold Resistance in order to survive for extended periods of time. Early in Link's journey, the Blizzard that is ravaging Rito Village is causing perpetual snow in the Hebra Mountains.

At the northeast end of the summit, the Pikida Stonegrove Northwest Cave can be found underneath, at a much lower elevation.

At the southern end of the summit, southeast of Hebra Peak, there is a large ice block down the side of the cliff. Link can melt it to find a Swallow Bow inside. Just southeast of Hebra Peak, on top of some Zonai Ruins, there are several Soldier Construct IIs who guard a chest that contains a Zonaite Spear.

Northwest of Hebra Peak, down the cliffside, there is a patch of thorns surrounding a treasure chest. Link can burn the thorns to reach the chest, which contains a Falcon Bow.

Korok Seeds

  • Just northeast of Hebra Peak, at a lower elevation, there is a circle of rocks surrounding a pine tree. Place the missing rock in the rock formation to get the Korok Seed.
  • At the far southeastern end of the region, at a lower elevation near a pair of trees, there is a block puzzle. Place the box in the proper location to get the Korok Seed.
  • Just southwest of the Hebra Peak, at a much lower elevation, there is a Korok trying to reunite with their friend. Link can use a Balloon, a Flame Emitter, and a Lattice to reunite the two and get a pair of Korok Seeds.
