Windvane Meadow is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Windvane Meadow is a large open grassy plain found within Hyrule Field. It can be found between the Exchange Ruins and the Hyrule Garrison Ruins, extending eastward towards the Ranch Ruins. An enemy Guardian Stalker patrols the area to the east. Further east from the Guardian Stalker, there are some fairy lights moving around on the grass, near the batch of trees. Catch the fairy lights to get a Korok Seed.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Windvane Meadow is a wide open area, filled with grass plaines. It is bordered by various ruins, including the Exchange Ruins to the southwest, the Hyrule Garrison Ruins to the northwest, and the Ranch Ruins to the far northeast. The high grass can be chopped down to find some Hightail Lizards and Restless Crickets.

To the southeast of the Hyrule Field Chasm, there is a large enemy camp that has seven red Bokoblin. Many of these will shoot Fire Fruits out towards Link. Inside the camp there are two treasure chests that contain a Moblin Sledge and an Amber.

There is a massive enemy camp, found just southeast of the Hyrule Garrison Ruins. The camp here are the Marauders of Hyrule Field and they are part of the Bring Peace to Hyrule Field! quest.

At the southeast end of the meadow, there is a Battle Talus with three Bokoblin. Once defeated, Link can open the chest to get a Ruby gem.

Korok Seeds

  • Directly east of the Hyrule Garrison Ruins and just northeast of where the Marauders of Hyrule Field are located, there is a large tree surrounded by smaller ones. Shoot the bottle in the tree with an arrow to get the Korok Seed.
