The amiibo Rune is a Rune ability for the Sheikah Slate in Breath of the Wild.
Breath of the Wild
The amiibo (Rune) is unlocked once Link receives the Paraglider and leaves the Great Plateau. Use of the amiibo Rune must be toggled on in the Options menu.
This Rune allows the player to use their amiibo in order to summon various items. All amiibo from The Legend of Zelda Series have unique effects, such as summoning otherwise unobtainable weapons, armor, or companions.
