Differences Between the Game and the Manga
- The manga begins with Link in a village.
- Link has a small chick named Piyoko that hatched on his grandparents' farm. Piyoko acts as Link's sidekick; she gives Link frequent advice and helps him through several trials.
- Link finds Din in a village instead of Din finding him unconscious in the forest.
- None of the dungeons from the game are entered.
- Link doesn't gather any essences.
- Link receives help from Maple and Ricky when battling enemies.
- The bosses appear as random enemies sent by Gorgon.
- Link only goes to Subrosia once.
- Link does not encounter the skeleton crew.
- Link is shown with grandparents when he doesn't in the game.
