"The hood of a traveling merchant who had a bracelet that could turn the wearer into a painting. Wearing it increases your sideways climbing speed. It's a rather rare find."
Ravio's Hood is a piece of armor found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Ravio's Hood has a base defense of 2 and was released as a part of the second DLC expansion for the game: 'The Champions' Ballad'. It is directly inspired from Ravio, who first appeared in A Link Between Worlds.
The Hood enhances Link's sideways and diagonal climbing speed to a considerably high rate, making it the fastest climbing armor item.
Tears of the Kingdom
Located in the Secluded Coliseum, you must defeat several waves of Miasma Lizalfos. Ancient Blades will work, but it will cost you.
Location
- Main article: EX Treasure: Merchant Hood
Ravio's Hood is part of the EX Treasure: Merchant Hood side quest, which is unlocked with The Champions' Ballad DLC. Link can travel to the Deya Village Ruins and read Misko's EX Journal 2 to find the location of Ravio's Hood.
This piece of armor can be found near the Spring of Courage, underneath the right hand of the stone dragon. The chest will be buried under the claws and you will need to use the Magnesis Rune to get it out. Be sure to check our Interactive Map for a more precise location.
After Link has obtained this item for the first time, he will be able to purchase it from Granté in Tarrey Town for 50 Rupees.
