Hero's Clothes is a green garment that have appeared in The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. It has passed through generations and is destined to be worn by the hero.
Appearances
The Wind Waker
In the beginning of the game, Link wears pajamas and when Aryll comes to surprise Link on his birthday, she says that Grandma is waiting for Link down to the house. When Link comes down inside to talk to Grandma, she will give Link the Hero's Clothes and state that it is a tradition that when a boy becomes the same age that the famed Hero of Time they have to wear his signature green tunic and outfit to symbolize them becoming a man. Link will wear these clothes throughout the game.
Twilight Princess
After Link saves the Light Spirit Faron from twilight, Faron bestows the Hero's Clothes upon Link and tells that the Hero's Clothes once belonged to the ancient hero chosen by the gods.
Trivia
- When you have completed the game once in The Wind Waker and continues to play with the same file bar, you will not gain Hero's Clothes but will wear the pajamas throughout the game.
