A Link to the Past features fifteen Fairy Fountains across Hyrule. Nine are located in the Light World, and another six are found in the Dark World. This page lists each Fairy Fountain below and is split into two sections: one for the Light World, and another section further down for the Dark World.
Light World
Location: South of the Eastern Palace.
Conditions: None.
- There is a cave south of the Eastern Palace before you enter the area filled with ruins. Walk inside the cave and you'll come across a Fairy Fountain at the end of it.
Location: South of the Eastern Palace.
Conditions: None.
- This one is also near the Eastern Palace in a cave at the far eastern portion of Hyrule. Simply walk into the cave and enter the Fairy Fountain.
Location: Northeast corner of the Great Swamp.
Conditions: After obtaining the Bombs.
- In the Great Swamp there is a cracked wall in the northeastern area. Use a Bomb to blow it up and enter the cave to find a Fairy Fountain.
Location: Northwest of Link's House.
Conditions: After obtaining the Pegasus Boots.
- This one is northwest of Link's House. Use the Pegasus Boots to dash into the rocks piled on top of each other. Walk down the stairs to find a Fairy Fountain.
Location: East of the Desert of Mystery.
Conditions: None.
- Immediately before entering the Desert of Mystery head north to find a cave. Walk inside of it to find another Fairy Fountain.
Location: Lake Hylia.
Conditions: After obtaining the Bombs.
- Go to the small island in the middle of Lake Hylia and head inside the cave. You'll find the Pond of Happiness, but it also harbors a small additional secret. Bomb the east wall to find a Fairy Fountain.
Location: Lake Hylia.
Conditions: None.
- Walk along the southeast shore of Lake Hylia and you'll find an icy cave containing a Fairy Fountain.
Location: East of the Graveyard.
Conditions: None.
- Walk east from the cemetery and you'll come across a lone bush surrounded by grass. Cut down the bush and go down the hole to find a Fairy Fountain.
Location: East of the Lost Woods.
Conditions: None.
- After defeating Agahnim in Hyrule Castle go to the eastern border of the Lost Woods. Dash into the odd looking tree with the Pegasus Boots and go down the hole. You'll find a Fairy Fountain when you land.
Dark World
Location: South of the Dark Palace.
Conditions: None.
- It's in the exact same place as the first one in the Light World, but in the Dark World instead. Head south of the Dark Palace to find it.
Location: Northwest of Link's House.
Conditions: None.
- This one is also in the same location as its Light World counterpart. Head northwest of Link's House to find it.
Location: Southeast corner of Lake Hylia.
Conditions: After obtaining the Bombs.
- Go to where the cave with the Ice Rod was in the Light World, but in the Dark World. Bomb the nearby wall to find the Fairy Fountain.
Location: Near Misery Mire.
Conditions: None.
- In the Swamp of Evil, there is a cave to the right of Misery Mire. Walk inside to find a Fairy Fountain.
Location: Death Mountain
Conditions: After obtaining the Bombs.
- East of Ganon's Tower there is a boulder; lift it up and go down the steps. Head north and use the Ether Medallion to see the invisible path. Bomb the wall and go through. Bomb the other walls and go north to find a Fairy Fountain.
Location: Death Mountain.
Conditions: After obtaining the Bombs.
- In the same maze as the previous Fairy Fountain, head left this time instead of north. Bomb the north wall north of the exit outside to find a Fairy Fountain.
