Aneru are enemies that appear exclusively in The Adventure of Link.
Overview
Aneru act in a similar fashion to Blue Octoroks, often spitting rocks at Link. Some slither along the ground and shoot projectiles both high and low. Red Aneru, only found in the Great Palace, spit fireballs that can only be blocked by the Reflect Spell.
In the Japanese version of Adventure of Link on the Famicom Disk System, Blue Aneru do not make an appearance. Instead, they are replaced by Blue Octoroks in Midoro Palace and the Palace on the Sea. In the NES version of the game, Blue Octoroks exclusively appear in the Overworld.
