When [[Link (The Minish Cap)|Link]] first attempts to move through [[Castor Wilds]], he is stopped in his tracks for the swampy terrain causes him to sink, and in response [[Ezlo]] explains that at his current pace the young hero has no chance of making it through the area, and with that said, the two of them leave the area to find a way to get across the swampland at a much quicker speed. Heading back to Hyrule Town, Link soon decides to check out the local shoe shop, however upon entering the building he sees the shoe maker named Rem doze off. This in turn causes him to knock a pair of shoes off his desk, which opened up a miniature pathway leading up to the table's top.
