Hiroshi Yamauchi served as President of Nintendo from 1949 until 2002. During his tenure at Nintendo, he oversaw the launch of the Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo GameCube.
Yamauchi served as the Executive Producer for several Legend of Zelda games, including the following.
Sadly, on September 19, 2013, Yamauchi passed away from pneumonia at the age of 85.
