The Minish Cap Bottles

There are a total of four obtainable Bottles in The Minish Cap.

  Location: Trilby Highlands.

  Required Items: Bombs, Small Shield.

  The first bottle is very easy to find and is required to ascend Mount Crenel. With at least 20 rupees in Link's wallet, head to the Trilby Highlands by taking the west exit of Hyrule Town, then go slightly to the south and enter the stairs. Once inside, there is a large block to the left, and a cracked wall to the right. Place a bomb in front of the cracked wall to enter the next room, and inside is a Business Scrub. Simply deflect the nuts it fires with an equipped shield. Once it has been stunned with its own nuts, approach it and talk. It will sell Link a bottle for 20 rupees.

  Location: Lake Hylia.

  Required Items: Cane of Pacci.

  After completing the second temple, the Cave of Flames, return to Hyrule Town. There, in Stockwell's Shop, there is a bottle behind the counter which he will not sell to Link. To obtain it, first go to Mama's Cafe and use the Cane of Pacci to turn the vase into a Minish Portal. After using it to shrink Link to Minish size, go to the back of the café and walk up the small stairs, then over the drawers towards the small hole in the upper left corner. Enter the small hole, then walk across the rafters and past the various Town Minish out of the door to the right. Cross the plank between the two buildings into the rafters of Stockwell's Shop, then either avoid or kill the mulldozers and pesto - Link can simply jump down at the first opportunity.

  Regardless of how he gets down, Link will find himself behind the counter of the shop, where he can use the Minish Portal vase to return to normal size. Take the bottle and talk to Stockwell, he will give it to Link for free as long as he gives the Dog Food inside to his dog, Fifi. He marks his house on the map, which is by Lake Hylia east of town. Once Link reaches the house, via Lon Lon Ranch, he can pour the dog food into Fifi's bowl. From then on, he can use the bottle freely.

  Location: Eastern Hills.

  Required Items: Kinstone Bag.

  Fuse Kinstones with Link's grandfather, Master Smith. Once the fusion is complete, a chest will appear in the Eastern Hills. Go find the chest and the bottle is Link's.

  Location: Lon Lon Ranch.

  Required Items: Kinstone Bag.

  Link must fuse Kinstones with Eenie and five Mysterious Walls, which will summon six Gorons to break barriers in a cave by Lon Lon Ranch, opening the way to the chest containing a bottle. See The Minish Cap Goron Quest for full details.
