"Using monster extract as a base, this soup's distinct gaminess is either loved or hated."
Monster Soup is a piece of food in Breath of the Wild.
Breath of the Wild
Monster Soup can be made in a lit Cooking Pot using certain ingredients. Adding a fifth ingredient with a stat-boosting effect may create a variant with that effects - for instance, using Zapshroom, Voltfruit, Electric Safflina or Voltfin Trout would create Electro Monster Soup.
If ingredients carrying multiple different effects are added, they will cancel out and leave the result as plain Monster Soup. There is no benefit to cancelling out effects in this manner.
Note that Monster Extract randomises the strength and duration of effects from dishes it is added to, along with the number of hearts recovered, so the results of the cooked dish can be unpredictable beforehand.
