"A Rito accessory made from snow-bird feathers. It's adorned with a ruby, a gem that harnesses the power of fire to make cold climates more tolerable."
The Snowquill Headdress is a helm found in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Appearances
Breath of the Wild
A Snowquill Headdress has a base defense of 3 and increases resistance to cold. It can be purchased from the Brazen Beak clothing shop in Rito Village for 1000 Rupees. This piece of armor, as well as the rest of the Snowquill Set, is vital in surviving areas of extreme cold, such as the Hebra Mountains or Mount Lanayru.
Armor Set
The Snowquill Set (also including Snowquill Tunic and Snowquill Trousers) makes the wearer immune to freeze effects when all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.
Enhance Path
Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.

Trivia
- It's implied that the headdress has special or magical properties for cold protection like the Ruby Circlet because, in reality, it would provide negligible cover from the cold.
