The Iron Sledgehammer is a weapon found in Breath of the Wild. Link can use it as a weapon to attack enemies, and also use it to build up kinetic energy in a boulder, when the boulder is suspended in time with the Stasis Rune.
While they can be used as a two-handed weapon, with a base power of 12, they are slow and rather inefficient against enemies other than Taluses and Pebblits. However, with a durability of 40, the Iron Sledgehammer can withstand some damage, and thus it is a great weapon to be used with Stasis, as mentioned above. With a power of 12, they serve as a decent two-handed weapon during the early game. Due to its heavy weight, it is rather slow to swing, leaving Link vulnerable to an attack while he is using the sledgehammer. They are outclassed by much more powerful two-handed weapons that Link acquires. However, with a durability of 40, the Iron Sledgehammer can withstand some damage, and thus it is a great weapon to be used with Stasis.

Korok Leaf

Korok-leaf.png
Main article: Korok Leaf

The Korok Leaf is a two-handed tool which can create gusts of wind that will blow objects away. With a power of just 1, it is the weakest "weapon" in the game - if used against smaller enemies, such as Bokoblin or ChuChu, the gust will push them back; but larger enemies such as Moblin will simply block the gust. Its main purpose is to sail the many Rafts found throughout Hyrule.

With a durability of 25, the Korok Leaf is fairly resilient. Furthermore, when Link uses the leaf to blow the sail of a raft, it will not affect its durability. Thus, Link can endlessly use the Korok Leaf to guide a raft.

"A single swing of this giant, sturdy leaf can create a gust of wind strong enough to blow away light objects. These will sometimes fall off trees as they're chopped down."

Farming Hoe

Main article: Farming Hoe

The Farming Hoe has a base power of 16. While they are most abundantly found in and around Hateno Village, a Red Bokoblin can be found wielding a Farming Hoe at the East Post Ruins, just west of the Proxim Bridge.

"A farming tool primarily used for tilling fields. Its fine craftsmanship is sturdy enough to withstand backbreaking fieldwork, but its battle applications are untested."

— In-game description

Boat Oar

Main article: Boat Oar

The Boat Oar has a base power of 14, and is typically found in urbanized areas, such as the Hateno Village or Lurelin Village.

"Made for paddling boats, but it was made sturdy enough to fight strong currents. Maybe it's useful for self-defense in a pinch."

The Woodcutter's Axe is a two-handed axe with a base power of 3, and is one of the first items Link can come across in the game, as it can be found resting in close proximity to the Shrine of Resurrection, where Link first meets the Old Man. It isn't recommended to use this weapon against enemies, as it has a weak damage output. Instead, the axe should be used to knock down trees, in order to obtain Wood or Apples which may be difficult to reach. Its design is just a simple wooden stick which has been affixed to a piece of metal fashioned to be in the shape of an axe head.

"A woodcutter's tool of choice for felling trees. Its formidable weight and uneven balancing make it a slow, inefficient weapon."

The Double Axe is a two-handed axe with a very slow use time and a power of 18. This axe is suitable for chopping down trees, and it has a relatively long durability.

"This double-sided axe was designed with fighting in mind. It's a bit unwieldy, so it requires a well-practiced technique to use efficiently."

The Iron Sledgehammer is a tool, whose primary function is to build up kinetic energy in items frozen with the Stasis rune. They can also be used to break Ore Deposits, including the ones on the back of Stone Taluses. They are occasionally found in the open, for instance beside Link's House or in places on the Great Plateau. They are occasionally found lying around out in the open. There is one found on the Great Plateau, within the Owa Daim Shrine.

"This large iron sledgehammer was originally used for mining, but it works reasonably well as a weapon too."

Giant Boomerang

Giant-boomerang.png
Main article: Giant Boomerang

The Giant Boomerang is a two handed weapon with a base power of 25, and can be found in various locations across Hyrule, including as a drop from Hinoxes. This weapon can be used as a sword, through means of melee attacks, but can also be thrown like a traditional boomerang. If it hits a solid object, it will lose all momentum and drop to the ground. In order to retrieve a boomerang after it has been thrown, the player must hit the A button as it nears Link. In the case of this not happening, it will keep going for a small distance and drop to the ground, where it can be picked up.

One can be obtained by killing the Stalnox on Satori Mountain

"This massive boomerang requires two hands. Originally used for hunting, it was modified for use as a weapon. The blades on the inner curves make it a bit tricky to wield."

Traveler's Claymore

Travelers-claymore.png
Main article: Traveler's Claymore

The Traveler's Claymore is a two-handed sword with a base power of 10, and is often wielded by Moblins around the Great Plateau. It is a heavy weapon, and as a result it has a rather slow use time. It appears to be a larger version of the Traveler's Sword, but with a much larger blade and grip to enable it to be held with two hands.

Early in the quest, when Link is on the Great Plateau, he can find a Traveler's Claymore inside of a treasure chest, located in the Ja Baij Shrine. With a strength of just 10 units, it is one of the weakest two-handed weapons in the game. However, it is stronger than the Woodcutter's Axe and some of the basic two-handed weapons wielded by Bokoblin and Moblin. However, once beyond the early stages of the game, the Traveler's Claymore quickly becomes an obsolete weapon and should only be used if it is the only item Link has in hits inventory.

"A basic two-handed sword often wielded by aspiring adventurers. Its immense weight can knock enemies' shields right out of their hands."

— In-game description

Soldier's Claymore

Soldiers-claymore.png
Main article: Soldier's Claymore

The Soldier's Claymore is a two-handed sword found in Breath of the Wild. This claymore is a part of the Soldier's equipment set, which includes a one-handed sword, a polearm, a shield, and a bow. It has a base power of 20 and a base durability of 25. It is a heavy weapon, and as a result it has a rather slow use time, but the damage partially makes up for this deficit. It appears to be a larger version of the Soldier's Broadsword, featuring a similar cross-guard and the same blue-grey ribbon wrapped around the grip.

"A two-handed sword designed for combat. It's heavy and hard to use but has decent build quality and durability."

— In-game description

Knight's Claymore

Knights-claymore.png
Main article: Knight's Claymore

The Knight's Claymore is a two-handed claymore with a base power of 38, and can occasionally be found in the possession of Black Moblins on the outskirts of the map, in regions such as Hebra or Gerudo. It can also be found in a chest within the Keo Ruug Shrine. It is much more powerful than the Traveler's Claymore and the Soldier's Claymore, and as a result is a much wiser choice in head on combat. Since it has a slow use time, Link is more likely to take damage from an enemy using this weapon, but in combination with a Flurry Rush, it can be brutal.

"Only the most confident of Hyrule Castle's knights carried this two-handed sword. Its cutting edge is finely honed."

— In-game description

Royal Claymore

Royal-claymore.png
Main article: Royal Claymore

The Royal Claymore is a two-handed sword found in Breath of the Wild. It is part of the Royal equipment set, which includes a one-handed sword, a polearm, a bow, and a shield. It has a base power of 52 and durability of 40. The Royal Claymore has an elegant design, featuring a golden cross-guard, a grip wrapped with purple ribbon, and many other decorations. Cosmetically, it is similar to the Royal Guard's Claymore, with the only difference being the choice of colors.

"A two-handed sword issued to the Hyrulean royal family's immediate guard detail. Its powerful strikes are said to crush an opponent's body and resolve alike."

— In-game description

Silver Longsword

Silver-longsword.png
Main article: Silver Longsword

The Silver Longsword is a two-handed sword with a base power of 22, and can be rarely found in chests across Hyrule, more commonly in the Lanayru region, and occasionally in Shrine of Trials. It sports an elegant design, with the traditional Zora colors of silver and blue.

"Although the Zora prefer spears to swords, they made this two-handed weapon using a special metal. It found popularity among Hylians for its unique design."

— In-game description

Cobble Crusher

Cobble-crusher.png
Main article: Cobble Crusher

The Cobble Crusher is a two-handed weapon with a very slow use time and a power of 15. It can be used to mine Ore Deposits with great efficiency. This weapon can typically be found in lone locations around the Eldin region, for example in Goron City.

If Link loses or breaks the Boulder Breaker, Rohan the blacksmith will need 1 Cobble Crusher, 5 pieces of Flint, and 1 Diamond in order to make a new one.

"A Goron-made two-handed weapon. It's made from thick, hard metal and has no cutting edge, so it relies on its sheer weight to crush all opponents."

— In-game description

Stone Smasher

Stone-smasher.png
Main article: Stone Smasher

The Stone Smasher is a two-handed weapon with a very slow use time and a power of 42. It can be used to mine Ore Deposits with great efficiency. This weapon can typically be found in lone locations around Hyrule Field, in Hyrule Castle.

"A two-handed weapon forged from a rare metal mined in Goron City. Its center of gravity is at its tip, so it uses centrifugal force and its sheer weight to smash opponents flat."

— In-game description

Boulder Breaker

Boulder-breaker.png
Main article: Boulder Breaker

The Boulder Breaker is a two-handed weapon with a very slow use time, an attack power of 60, and a durability of 60. It can be used to mine Ore Deposits with great efficiency. This weapon can be obtained in Goron City after completing the Divine Beast Vah Rudania, for which it is gifted to Link from the town elder Bludo. It once belonged to the Goron Champion Daruk. The Boulder Breaker is very effective against every single type of Stone Talus, which includes its Igneo and Frost variants.

The Boulder Breaker cannot have attack up or durability up effects.

If Link loses or breaks the Boulder Breaker, he can go to Rohan, the Goron City Blacksmith, to ask for a new one. He will require the following materials:

"This two-handed weapon was once wielded by the Goron Champion Daruk. Daruk made swinging it around look easy, but a Hylian would need and immense amount of strength."

— In-game description

Golden Claymore

Golden-claymore.png
Main article: Golden Claymore

The Golden Claymore is a two-handed sword with a base power of 28, and can sometimes be found in chests in and around the Gerudo region, for example in the South Lomei Labyrinth. The design fits the Gerudo theme, with curved edges on the cross-guard and the Gerudo symbol at the peak of the blade.

You can obtain one by using Magnesis on a Stalnox on Satori Mountain while it is not awake. The weapon is trapped inside of the Stalnox, therefore requiring you to use Magnesis.

"Only the most talented Gerudo sword fighters carry this two-handed sword. It's actually much lighter than it appears and is surprisingly easy to wield."

— In-game description

Eightfold Longblade

Eightfold-longsword.png
Main article: Eightfold Longblade

The Eightfold Longblade is a two-handed weapon with a base power of 32, and can be found in various chests across Hyrule. It appears to be a two-handed version of the Eightfold Blade, dealing much more damage, but the sacrifice is that Link is unable to use a Shield whilst wielding this heavy blade. It bears resemblance to a samurai sword, with its curved design and long, razor sharp blade.

It has a unique charge attack, which is a horizontal slash, rather than the Great Spin Attack, which is commonly shared by every other two-handed weapon in the game. The only other weapon that shares this trait is the Windcleaver.

"A single-edged sword seldom seen in Hyrule. This weapon is passed down through the Sheikah tribe and has an astonishingly shape edge ideal for slicing."

— In-game description

It can be crafted at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, through the use of the robot Cherry, in exchange for 1000 Rupees, 15 Ancient Screws, 5 Ancient Shafts and 2 Ancient Cores. "A two-handed sword not properly cared for. Although it can be used as a weapon, its durability is very low. Don't expect it to last for more than a few strikes."

— In-game description

Royal-guards-claymore.png
Main article: Royal Guard's Claymore

The Royal Guard's Claymore is a two-handed sword found in Breath of the Wild. It is part of the Royal Guard's set, along with a one-handed sword, a polearm, a bow, and a shield. It has a base power of 72 and a base durability of 15. While it's base damage is massive, its durability is very low, making it unreliable in battle. The Royal Guard's Claymore features a black cross-guard with a crimson ribbon wrapped around the grip. Design-wise, it's similar to the Royal Claymore, with the only difference being the color scheme.

"The Sheikah used the very essence of ancient technology to forge this greatsword. It was designed to oppose the Calamity, but its low durability made it impractical in battle."

— In-game description

It can be found in various lone locations across Hyrule, such as the Ancient Tree Stump, but also in chests in Shrine of Trials. The blade has the ability to set enemies alight, but requires a short period of time to charge before unleashing the flames once more.

Boko Bat

Boko-bat.png
Main article: Boko Bat

The Boko Bat is a two-handed wooden bat with a base power of 6, and is a typical weapon used by Red Bokoblins and Red Moblins in the Necluda region. It appears to be a large fashioned log which has been adapted to be a weapon, featuring poorly made spikes at the top for extra damage.

With a power of just 6 for a two-handed weapon and a relatively low durability, the Boko Bat is only a viable weapon during the early game, or if it is the only weapon Link has access to. It quickly becomes obsolete, shortly after Link ventures off of the Great Plateau.

"A clunky club made by a Bokoblin. If you swing it at an enemy's shield it may be able to knock the shield out of your foe's hand."

— In-game description

Spiked-boko-bat.png
Main article: Spiked Boko Bat

The Spiked Boko Bat is a two-handed wooden bat with a base power of 18, and is typically wielded by Red and Blue Bokoblins in the Necluda region. It is wooden in design, meaning it will set fire if it is brought close to a flame.

Spiked Boko Bats are most commonly found being used by Blue Bokoblin and Black Bokoblin. With a power of 18, they are three times as strong as their standard Boko Bat counterpart, but they have the same, relatively low durability.

"After much consideration by Bokoblins on how to improve the Boko bat, they simply attached sharp spikes to it. A skilled fighter can cause immense damage with this."

— In-game description

Dragonbone-boko-bat.png
Main article: Dragonbone Boko Bat

It is wooden in design, meaning it will set fire if it is brought close to a flame.

With a power of 36, it is twice as powerful as its Spiked Boko Bat counterpart, but only slightly more durable. These strong weapons are not too common in the overworld and are occasionally seen being used by Black Bokoblin in the overworld. A few can be found in the Maritta Exchange Ruins and the areas adjacent to that region.

"Used only by the toughest Bokoblin warriors, this Boko bat has been fortified by fossilized bone. It boasts a high durability and is strong enough to beat down powerful foes."
