Purpose
This template is used to hide prefixes in categories. It requires that the HidePrefix gadget be enabled in your user preferences.
Usage
To use this template, type: {{HidePrefix| Prefix }}
On a category page.
- Prefix — Prefix to hide in the category page.
- Note: You must also include the colon for namespace prefixes. It is done this way so you have more flexibility in what you can hide. Meaning you can also hide part of the name of the pages too if they have something in common. This would be a fair amount more difficult and involved to accomplish if the colon was automatically considered.
