How to Unlock
With a total of 18 Memories, reference to the locations of the Breath of the Wild Interactive Map, there are three types of memories you can recover, a location based memory that is related to the main quest "Captured Memories", of which you will see a yellow shiny glow that you will interact with, the second is Divine Beast Champions Memories, which it will be revealed if went through the main quests for the Divine Beasts (some can be missed if you only rely on a quick guide), the 3rd is the Master Sword Memory, unlocked after obtaining the Master Sword.

=Recovered memory #1 Subdued ceremony

Recovered Memory #2 - Revali's Flap

Recovered Memory #17 - Zelda's Awakening (Picture 13)
This memory location will only be unlocked after visiting all 12 locations in the Sheikah Slate & speaking with Impa; see the referenced map for all locations.
Recovered Memory #18 - The Master Sword
This memory is unlocked after obtaining the Master Sword from the Great Hyrule Forest. The Master Sword is obtainable via having at least 13 heart containers.
