A Rift in the Faron Wetlands is a Main Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

After completing the Still Missing quest, Zelda can travel to any of the three regions in any order. As soon as Zelda steps foot in the Faron Wetlands, it will give an overview of the area, even if Zelda has previously been in the region.

Requirements

• Begin the Lands of the Goddesses main quest.

Walkthrough

• Make your way to the Faron Wetlands at the southeast part of the map. This can be achieved by heading southeast from Hyrule Castle and Eastern Hyrule Field. Once Zelda reaches the wetlands, it will pan the area, beginning the quest.
• The largest rift is inside a structure at the north end of the Faron Wetlands, but the Deku Scrubs found just outside won't let Zelda in. They mention that zelda needs a Membership Card if she wants to get into The Sweet Spot.
• Travel south to enter Scrubton to find all the Deku Scrubs are eating Cotton Candy. Speak to some of the Deku Scrubs to find that there is a scrub with a Membership Card, found at Heart Lake to the southwest.
• Travel to Heart Lake to find a Deku Scrub upset as he was supposed to meet a special somebody, but they are nowhere to be found. Tri can create an entrance so that Zelda can reach the Stilled Heart Lake.
  • Travel to the northwest and use an Ignizol to burn the web on the wall to find the first of Tri's friends.
  • Jump to the right and use another Ignizol to burn the web and find the second of Tri's friends.
  • Climb up further to find another spide web, with Tri's friend found underneath.
  • Make your way to the northwest part of the region and dive underwater. Swim to the left side and use a Bombfish Echo to summon a Bombfish. Stand to the left of it and use Bind. Carry it down the water current and let it blowup, to break the block. Have Zora's Flippers equipped and swim over and get Tri's friend.
  • Defeat the Deku Baba and collect the last of Tri's friends.
• With all of Tri's friends together, they will mend the rift, clearing Heart Lake. Tri will reward Zelda with 2 Might Crystals. The Deku Scrubs here will reunite. Tri asks them for a Membership Card, but they say no. However, they mention that a Deku Scrub named Blossu has one, and he's in the southeast corner of the Faron Wetlands.
• Make your way through the cave to the east to arrive at the southeast part of Faron Wetlands, where Zelda will find Blossu. Next to Blossu's house, Tri can create a rift to enter the Stilled Blossu's House. Here there are five of Tri's friends.
  • On the right side there is a Giant Goponga Flower, with one of Tri's friends behind the web nearby.
  • Zelda can climb the wall and burn the webs down. There is a Dark Giant Goponga Flower down below. Zelda can drop an Ignizol on it to burn it to find more of Tri's friends.
  • Just to the left there is a group of Deku Babas with another one of Tri's friends.
  • Zelda can climb up to the top of the area to find a ladder, leading to an underground area. Here Zelda can use a Strandtula Echo to climb up on the left side. She can use a Bombfish or a Bomb to break the boulders and find another of Tri's friends.
  • Back outside, make your way to the top-right corner of the area. There are some flames here, but if Zelda sets a series of Old Beds just below them, she can avoid the flames. On the right side burn the web to find the last of Tri's friends.
• Tri's friends will mend the rift and Zelda will receive 2 Might Crystals. The Deku Scrubs will be disappointed, as all the webs for Cotton Candy are cleared. Thus, they will imprison Zelda and leave her nothing but a Stick. Zelda will then appear in the Deku Scrub Lockup.
• Zelda can still use Bind and grab the Lockup Key. After pulling it over to herself, she can use it to unlock the gate. After escaping, Zelda can head through the opening at the top-left of the room. Here she will have to sneak by the Deku Scrubs. Sneak down to the floor below and use the Lockup Key to unlock the door here. Zelda can use Bind on the Bed and carry it to the right side of the room. She can also use Bind on the torch to move it to the right. Using a Bed and the Torch, Zelda can reach the higher ledge and exit to the right.
• Talk to the Deku Scrub and it will eventually give the Tri Rod back to Zelda. Use an Echo to hit the switch and head up the stairs.
• Zelda can then head to the right side and use Echoes to sneak by the scrubs. This eventually leads down into a well. Use more Echoes to make it through the underground area. On the far right there are some water streams flowing downward. On the left one, Zelda can drop a series of Old Beds so that she can swim by and not get puedh all the way to the bottom. Alternatvely, Zelda can use Platbooms to float up.
• Back outside, Zelda will meet up with Blossu, who will give Zelda the Membership Card. Zelda can then head to the Sweet Spot and speak with the Deku Scrubs. Shwo the Membership Card and enter The Sweet Spot.
• The rift will grow, swalling up some of the Deku Scrubs. Clear the enemies and enter the Stilled Faron Wetlands.
• Make your way through the Stilled area to the northeast part of the map. Use the Drippitune Echo to drop a Drippitune, causing it to rain. With the fire no longer burning, climb up the ladder.
• Continue to the next area where there are three switches. Zelda will need to use electric Echoes to hit all three switches. This can be Buzz Blobs, Electric Keese, or other electric based enemies. With all switches hit, head up the stairs. Continue through thhe next door to enter the Faron Temple.

Adventure Log

Step	Description
1	Search for entrance to the rifts in the Faron Wetlands to mend them. There are a few rifts in the area—maybe you should start with the biggest one.
2	There's a rift in an exclusive, members-only club called the Sweet Spot. To get inside and mend it, you'll need a membership card.
3	You found out that there's a Deku Scrub with a membership card at Heart Lake to the southwest.
4	From what you've heard, there's a Deku Scrub named Blossu who has a membership card. It sounds like you can find them somewhere in the southern Faron Wetlands.
5	You found a Deku Scrub named Blossu who has a membership card. Blossu is in distress because their home was overtaken by a rift.
6	Blossu, who has a membership card, was in distress because their home was overtaken by a small rift. Tri made a rift entrance into it for you.
7	You restored Blossu's home, which angered the other Deku Scrubs. They arrested you and confiscated the Tri Rod.
8	Your belongings, Tri Rod included, were returned to you...but the rod is sticky now.
9	As thanks for mending the rift, Blossu gave you their membership card for the Sweet Spot.
10	You presented Blossu's membership card to the Deku Scrubs guarding the Sweet Spot, and they opened the door for you.
11	The rift in the Sweet Spot spread, swallowing up some Deku Scrubs. After you defeated some monsters from the rift, the other Scrubs asked you to save their friends.
12	You created an entrance to the rift in the Sweet Spot. Now is your chance to mend the rift and save those poor Deku Scrubs.
13	You mended the rift in the Faron Wetlands and got a sanction from the goddess Farore for showing great courage. Now you can return to the normal world.
Complete	With the rift that appeared in the Faron Wetlands mended, the Deku Scrubs seem to be over cotton candy. But now they've just moved on to another trend.
