A Curious Child is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.
Overview
At the southwest part of Hyrule Castle Town there is a small child who loves Zol. Speak to him to begin the quest, then show him a Zol Echo, Ignizol Echo and Hydrozol Echo (grown through exposure to water) in turn for a Might Crystal.
Requirements
- Arrive at Hyrule Castle Town. This must not be during the Still Missing quest, where the town is swallowed by a rift, but can be before or after.
Walkthrough
- Speak to the boy at the southwest part of Hyrule Castle Town to begin the quest.
- Use the Zol Echo to show the boy a Zol. This is one of the first Echos found in the game, on Suthorn Beach.
- Next the boy wants to see an Ignizol. The Ignizol Echo can be learned from an Ignizol within a cave in Suthorn Forest.
- Lastly, the boy wants to see a Hydrozol. These can be found in the water-regions to the east, in Jabul Waters. Using a Hydrozol Echo is not enough though, as the boys wants to see a much larger one.
- If Zelda has it, use a Water Block Echo to place a Water Block on top of the Hydrozol, causing it to grow much larger. The Water Block Echo can be learned within the Stilled Jabul Waters on the way to the Jabul Ruins.
- Alternatively, use the fountain in the middle of Hyrule Castle Town to grow it, then carry it back to the child with bind.
- After showing him the large Hydrozol, the child will reward Zelda with a Might Crystal.
