Wild Sandstorms is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

In the Gerudo Desert there are two enemy Lanmolas that appear. One can be found just northwest of the Oasis and another near at the entrance to the desert. After defeating both the Red Lanmola and Green Lanmola, Zelda can speak to the Gerudo Soldiers at the Gerudo Palace to begin the quest. After defeating a third Blue Lanmola, Zelda can earn herself a Piece of Heart and the Gold Sash.

Requirements

• Complete the A Rift in the Gerudo Desert quest.
• Defeat the Red Lanmola and the Green Lanmola

Walkthrough

• There are two Lanmola found in the Gerudo Desert.
• First a Red Lanmola can be found in the desert, just northwest of the Oasis. When Zelda is nearby a Sandstorm will begin to form. To defeat the Lanmola, Zelda will need to use Bind to pull at the enemy and yank it back. After it is stunned, Zelda can use Echoes or her Swordfighter Form to deal damage. Repeat this process until the Red Lanmola is defeated.
• A second Green Lanmola can be found just north of the entrance of the Gerudo Desert to the east. The Green variant has slightly more health but the strategy is the same.
• After both Lanmolas have been defeats, Zelda can enter the Gerudo Palace and speak to the guards that are training in the room to the left. Another Lanmola has appeared and this will begin the quest. They are training to do battle with this enemy.
• Warp to the entrance, where the Green Lanmola was fought and this time there is a much stronger Blue Lanmola. The process of fighting the enemy is the same, but it will just take more damage to defeat.
• After the Blue Lanmola is defeated, it will leave behind some rupees and a Piece of Heart.
• Return to the Gerudo Palace and speak to the guards.
• Facette will appear, rewarding Zelda with a Gold Sash, completing the quest.

Step	Description
1	A remarkably strong Lanmola appeared in the Gerudo Desert. Gerudo soldiers are competing to see who will defeat the Lanmola first.
2	You defeated the Lanmola that appeared in the Gerudo Desert. You should report this to the two soldiers at Gerudo Palace.
Complete	When the Gerudo soldiers heard the last Lanmola was defeated while they were training, they decided to take responsibility for their words and actions.
