Warding

Warding is an effect that is applied to food in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Warding meals are created when Link cooks Dark Clump in a Cooking Pot as part of a meal (with no conflicting effects). There is no "Warding Elixir".

Warding meals give temporary Gloom Resistance, adding extra, virtual Heart Containers which are broken by gloom before Link's actual Heart Containers. They should not be confused with Sunny meals, which repair actual Heart Containers broken by gloom.
