The Batrea Lake is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Lake is situated east of the Owlan Bridge, along the Hylia River, and it is surrounded by a small forest. While the water at the Lake is a bit to shallow to support any fish, there are some animals around, including Hot-Footed Frogs, Tireless Frogs, Common Sparrows, and Blue-Winged Herons.
At the west side of the Batrea Lake there is a Bokoblin camp with both Red and Blue Bokoblin. There are two treasure chests found here, one on top of the camp containing a Traveler's Bow, and another at the top of the tower that has five Bomb Arrows. This particular camp is a bit unique in that there is no bridge or stairs that lead up to the top of the camp. Instead, the Bokoblin here will shoot Link with Arrows, throw rock, as well explosive Bomb Barrels. It's best to defeat these enemies with arrows from a distance. However, there are three metallic blocks within the lake itself. Link can use Magnesis to bring these blocks closer to the Bokoblin platform, where he can stack them, creating a ladder that Link can climb.
Alternatively, Link can first climb up the large tower. It's rather high, so unless Link has Revali's Gale or extra Stamina, he won't be able to climb up by himself. Link can stack up the metallic blocks to reach the top of the tower and then glide over to the Bokoblin platform.

Tears of the Kingdom
Batrea Lake can be found just southeast of Riverside Stable on the other side of the Hylia River. The lake itself is surrounded by a forest with a number of Forest Octoroks in the region.
Gourmets Gone Missing
- Main article: Gourmets Gone Missing
Link can speak with Penn at Riverside Stable to begin the Gourmets Gone Missing. As part of the quest, Link will find Agus and his crew next to the Batrea Lake where they are suffering from food poisoning. After cooking Zelda's Recipe and giving it to Agus, the group will recover and will make their way to Riverside Stabe.
Korok Seeds
- Just west of the lake, there is a massive tower. Link can reach the top by using Recall on some of the nearby fallend Zonai Ruins. At the top, hit the Dandelion and catch it before it hits the ground to get the Korok Seed.
- In the giant tree log in the center of the lake, use Ultrahand to complete the block puzzle and get the Korok Seed.
- At the far north end of the lake, there is an overturned log, partially in the water. The other end has a bottle in the log. Hit the bottle to get the Korok Seed.
- South of the lake and forest, there is a tall hill with a three-pronged wooden pedestal on it. Down the hill there is a boulder. Place the boulder on the pedestal to get the Korok Seed.
