Moveset
Link is able to charge a follow-up attack by holding X after performing a Combo Attack.
Attack | Explanation |
---|---|
Base String? | Link performs a string of seven attacks: He slashes left, slashes right, jumps and slashes right, lands with another right slash, dashes to the left while slashing, dashes to the right while slashing, and jumps before smashing his weapon to the ground. If using the Master Sword and at full health, each attack will fire a Sword Beam ahead. |
C1? | Link performs a Spin Attack, which can be charged by holding the button. Charging the attack enables Link to move freely before performing it, and increases the range while also carrying Link forward. When using the Master Sword and at full health, the attack fires a Sword Beam ahead. When using the Boomerang, Lizal Boomerang, Lizal Forked Boomerang, Lizal Tri-Boomerang, or Lizalfos Arm, the charged version has Link throw his weapon in an arc in front of him. |
Regular Dash Attack? | Link performs a thrust attack, which brings him to a stop. |
Strong Dash Attack? | Link jumps onto his shield and surfs atop it for a brief period, ploughing through any enemies in his way. |
Base Aerial String? | Link can perform a string of three slashes (YYY) and an explosive Down Thrust (X). These attacks can be used separately or in order. |
C2? | Link performs a rising low blow that launches him and caught enemies into the air; From there, he can land, ride the wind, or combo into his aerial attacks or Unique Action.
|
C3? | Link jumps onto his shield and surfs atop it for a brief period, ploughing through any enemies in his way.
|
C4? | Link performs a Spin Attack.
|
C5? | Link performs a rising Spin Attack that carries him and caught enemies into the air; From there, he can land, deploy his Paraglider, or combo into his aerial attacks or Unique Action.
|
C6? | Link performs a small Spin Attack that carries him forward, followed by a thrust attack that knocks enemies away.
|
Unique Action? | Link fires a volley of Arrows from his Bow. This attack can be held and aimed freely before firing, and when used in mid-air, slows down time while aiming. Shooting an enemy's weak point (e.g. the head for Moblins) will forcibly expose their Weak Point Gauge. |
