Rauru Settlement Ruins is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Rauru Settlement Ruins are located northeast of Hyrule Castle and just west of the Woodland Stable. There is not much of interest at the ruins other than a single treasure chest at the northwest part of the area which contains a Thunderstorm Rod. There is a lake to the west, but it a dangerous swamp that Link cannot swim in.
There are some Blue Bokoblins near the ruins that are attacking a pair of siblings. The two siblings, Mils and Mina, will fight back but if Link comes to the rescue, they will thank, rewarding him with a meal or an elixir. They are travelling throughout Hyrule looking for treasure at some of the old abandoned ruins.
Nearby Korok Seeds
Use Magnesis to get the metal block to the other side and solve the puzzle.

Materials
Tears of the Kingdom
The Rauru Settlement Ruins are found along the path, just north of the Helmhead Bridge, a bit northeast of Hyrule Castle.
The ruins themselves have a Bokoblin and a Moblin that are in the area. They are guarding a partially buried treasure chest that has a Soldier's Broadsword, which can scale up to Royal Broadsword, depending on World Level.
Just south of the ruins, there are some wild Horses as well as a pair of Lizalfos found on the shoreline of the Hylia River.
The Treasure Hunters
- Main article: The Treasure Hunters
Just to the west of the ruins, Link will find Domidak and Prissen looking over at a Treasure Chest in the swamp. Speaking with them will begin The Treasure Hunters quest. Link can use the nearby Hyrule Restoration Materials to create a bridge to reach the chest, which contains three Bomb Flowers. After doing so, Link can speak with the brothers again to complete the quest.
Rauru Settlement Ruins Well
- Main article: Rauru Settlement Ruins Well
The Rauru Settlement Ruins Well has a bunch of Brightbloom Seeds and Giant Brightbloom Seeds. It is a fairly basic well with no enemies, treasures, or anything other than brightbloom seeds and a couple Sticky Lizards. Link will need to use Ascend to get out of the well.
Rauru Hillside Cave
- Main article: Rauru Hillside Cave
The Rauru Hillside Cave can be found at the far north end of the swamp right by the Rauru Settlement Ruins. The cave has a Like Like, as well as a number of Horriblins that are protecting a treasure chest, along with a small Fairy Fountain.
Korok Seed
- At the north end of the swamp, near the entrance to the Rauru Hillside Cave, Link can break the jar that is hanging to get a Korok Seed.
