The Knight's Broadsword appears most commonly as a decayed sword, often in and around [[Hyrule Castle]]. It has a base power of 7. It deals double damage when the user is at 1 heart or less, making it very powerful when in dire straits, or if one is willing to take big risks.

"Knights of Hyrule once carried this sword. These days it's the weapon of choice for seasoned adventurers thanks to its ease of use and high attack power."

— In-Game Description[1]

The Knight's Broadsword is a one-handed sword found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Knight's Broadswords have a base power of 26 and a base durability of 27. The design is similar to the Soldier's Broadsword, but with a wider cross-guard, a fancier blade, and a hibiscus colored ribbon enveloping the grip. It was once carried by Hyrulean Knights.

This sword is typically wielded by Lizalfos and Moblins in the Western areas of Hyrule, including the Tabantha Frontier and Gerudo Desert regions. The damage and durability are significant, but are later exceeded by the Royal Broadsword.

Knight's Broadswords can be obtained by tossing Rusty Broadswords towards Rock Octoroks so that the creatures inhale them and spit them clean anew, but this may result in other types of broadswords as well.

Knight's Broadswords are a weapon type available only to Link, used with his One-Handed Weapon moveset.

Tears of the Kingdom

"Knights of Hyrule carried this sword. Even in its decayed state, it shows its true resolve in desperation and can yield powerful attacks when you're down to your last heart."

— In-Game Description

The Knight's Broadsword appears most commonly as a decayed sword, often in and around Hyrule Castle. It has a base power of 7. It deals double damage when the user is at 1 heart or less, making it very powerful when in dire straits, or if one is willing to take big risks. In the Depths, variants without decay and considerably more attack power can be occasionally found being held by the spirits of Hyrule Soldiers atop rock pedestals. These variants are distinguished with a ✨ next to their name.
