The Pineapple is an item featured in Link's Awakening as part of the fourteen-item trading sequence.
Link's Awakening
The Pineapple is obtained by speaking to the Chef Bear in Animal Village after having the Honeycomb in his possession, where he asks to trade the two because he ran out of honey.[1] Link can then take the Pineapple over to Papahl in Tal Tal Mountain Range, where he has gotten lost.[2] He is very hungry, so when Link offers him the Pineapple, he eats it right away.[3] In return, Papahl gives him the next item in the sequence, the Hibiscus.[4]
