Glendo is a character from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Glendo is a traveler who can be found riding his horse, traveling from the Outskirt Stable and heading north. He will cross over the Manhala Bridge, and travel all the way to the Sanidin Park Ruins. He prefers to ride during the daytime, due to the monsters that come out at nighttime.[1][2][3] He wields a Traveler's Sword and a Fisherman's Shield, although he never engages with any enemies.

When Glendo returns to the Outskirt Stable, he will travel to a tree located behind the stable. It is here where he will get off his horse for a short while and rest up. It is here where he talks about his daily routine, traveling to the Sanidin Park Ruins. He enjoys the ride, as his horse is quite reliable and it feels amazing to just gallop along the pathway with his horse.[4][5][6]

Glendo will give Link a variety of tidbits, providing different information depending on where he is on his daily path. He talks about all the hills that are north of the Manhala Bridge and because of this, traveling by horse is the best option. He advises Link to whistle, as it makes calling your horse much easier.[7]

While Glendo primarily sticks to the main road, he'll take a detour off the path just north of the Outskirt Stable. He talks about an abandoned rest area on the high road and even thought it's abandoned, he'll stop there for a moment.[8][9]

Glendo mentions the shooting stars that happen at nighttime, which drop Star Fragments. He never has actually seen one, but hopes to do so someday.[10][11]

When Glendo turns around to head back, he'll talk about the Lord of the Mountain, which can be found on some nights at Satori Mountain. He doesn't exactly know what it is, thinking that it could be a big fish or a stubborn old man.[12][13]

Whenever it rains, Glendo will get a bit upset. Depending on where he is, he'll take cover under a tree or will gallop ahead to the next rest stop.[14]
