"Princess Zelda's prized device. It has a variety of features that are essential to adventure."
The Purah Pad is a Key Item found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
The Purah Pad is first seen being used by Zelda during the prologue of the game, where she photographs some of the ruins Beneath Hyrule Castle. When Link arrives at the Garden of Time on the Great Sky Island, the Purah Pad is given to Link by a Steward Construct.
When directing him to Nachoyah Shrine, Rauru unlocks the ability of the Purah Pad to warp Link to Travel Gates.
In Lookout Landing, Purah and Josha open the Skyview Towers, allowing Link to use the Purah Pad to map the surface and sky. Later, during the Camera Work in the Depths quest, Robbie unlocks the Camera and Hyrule Compendium. He upgrades it further during the Hateno Village Research Lab quest to include the shrine sensor, followed by more upgrades; Hero's Path Mode, Sensor + and three Travel Medallions.
