Features
- Guide covers the first three Zelda titles, including The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, and A Link to the Past.
- First 32 pages of the guide are in full color, with the remaining portion of the guide printed in black and white.
- Guide begins with a brief history about Link's combat and abilities throughout the first several games.
- Includes a 13-page comic focused around A Link to the Past. Similar, smaller comics can be found for both The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link.
- The A Link to the Past guide is very detailed for the first half of the game, with some nice maps and highlighting many of the extras Link can find between dungeons.
- Guide for A Link to the Past is simplified after the Swamp Palace, with just brief mentions of the following dungeons, and nothing about the last several dungeons.
- Guide for The Legend of Zelda covers the full game, but is very brief with no maps for the dungeons and limited screenshots. No guide for the second quest.
- Adventure of Link guide is also very brief with no Palace maps and limited screenshots. However, there are some unique overworld maps.
- Back of the book has many appendices for some of Link's inventory and the various enemies encountered for all three games.
- Page sizes for the book are small and the print quality is not the best. With this being a black and white book, it makes it less exciting to flip through and use as a guide.
