Bago-Bago are enemies from The Adventure of Link.[1] They can be found in watery and lava-filled regions of Hyrule.
The Adventure of Link
Bago-Bago are animated skeletal fish that have been resurrected by unholy magic. These enemies steal 10 experience points if they come in contact with Link. There are two variations of Bago-Bago.
White Bago-Bago
White Bago-Bago can be found around bridges throughout Hyrule. They attack by leaping out of the water or lava in an attempt to bite any living creature that crosses their path. They also shoot rocks from their mouths.[2] Link gains 3 experience points for defeating Bago-Bago in Western Hyrule and 5 experience in Eastern Hyrule.
Red Bago-Bago
The Red Bago-Bago that are found in Great Palace are stronger than their counterparts found in the Overworld. They appear in lava-filled areas and will spit fireballs from their mouths instead of rocks, which Link can only block with his shield if he casts the Reflect Spell. Link gains 20 experience points for defeating the Red Bago-Bago.

The Wand of Gamelon
In The Wand of Gamelon, Bago-Bago appear in just one room in the entire game. Found within Reesong Palace, they fly on screen and will simply try to fly into Zelda. Since they have a short, yet wide body, they can be annoying to hit, as Zelda must strike them with a direct hit to the face.
Bago-Bago will continuously spawn in the room and fly towards Zelda. If she does happen to defeat one of them, it will leave behind a valuable blue ruby. Unfortunately, Bago-Bago do not travel alone and the room will quickly fill up with other enemies as well, so whenever possible, Zelda must try to avoid these creatures.
