Akkala Wilds is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Akkala Wilds spans the bulk of the north end of the Deep Akkala region, overlooking the Skull Lake and Tempest Gulch to the south. Throughout the wilds, there are grasslands, as well as groups of small bushes, found mostly to the east. Given the span of the wilds, there is a wide variety of animals and vegetation. There are some uncommon Razorshrooms and Zapshrooms found near the trees to the east.
Just north of the Skull Lake there is a Bokoblin camp with multiple Blue Bokoblin and Black Bokoblin. There is a wooden treasure chest on top of the camp that contains a Drillshaft.
At the far east end of the wilds there is a dangerous Blue-Maned Lynel patrolling the area. The Lynel carries a Mighty Lynel Spear and a Savage Lynel Bow, along with some Shock Arrows.

Nearby Korok Seeds
Head towards the northwestern part of the tree grove to find Korok flowers. Run through them in order to get the Korok Seed.
There's a giant hole in the ground here. Find a boulder on the hill to the southeast and get it into the hole. Stasis will be required. It is possible to hit the boulder directly into the hole in one shot with stasis, but this is quite difficult. Hit the boulder that is left. Counterintuitively, aim it slightly left and downhill, this boulder tends to bounce right and forward.
Move the big rock (using Stasis or an Octo Balloon), and then pick up the small rock.
Tears of the Kingdom
The Akkala Wilds are found at the north end of Hyrule, just north of Skull Lake and well northeast of Death Mountain. At the far west end of the wilds, there are some Zonai Ruins. Link can climb up to find a chest which contains five Steering Sticks.
Just northeast of Skull Lake, Addison can be found holding a Hudson Sign, where it is right at the edge. Use the nearby Hover Stones to support the sign. As a reward, Addison will give Link a Red Rupee, some Hasty Mushroom Rice Balls, and a Muddle Bud.
Korok Seeds
- At the far west end of the wilds, in the lower elevation northeast of the Gut Check Rock, there are some trees, with the center one having pinwheel. Stand on it and shoot the three surrounding balloons to get the Korok Seed.
- Directly north of Skull Lake, there is a Korok standing near ta small pond who wants to reunite with his friend. Carry the Korok west, to the area just northeast of the Gut Check Rock to get a pair of Korok Seeds.
- Northeast of Skull Lake, there is a small circle of water with a large rock in the center. Stand by the pinwheel in the center and shoot the three balloons to get the Korok Seed.
- At the east end of the Akkala Wilds, well east of Skull Lake, there is a small forest that has a three-pronged wooden pedestal. Just east of the pedestal there is a boulder. Place it on the pedestal to get the Korok Seed.
