Breath of the Wild in-game description

The Lynel Shield has a base Shield Guard of 30, and can be obtained by defeating standard Lynels scattered in the overworld, for example on Ploymus Mountain. The aesthetic is akin to other Lynel property, with a large metal centerpiece which boasts the power of this item.

Alongside other Lynel shields, this shield can be used to attack when parrying. One swing of the shield produces 7 damage to the target, while consuming 1 point of durability. This attack is subject to Attack Up buffs from armor, foods and elixirs.

This sword is one of the only Lynel weapons whose appearances don't deprecate as Lynels transform into their stronger counterparts; this, by virtue of the presence of the aforementioned Lynel at the Ploymus Mountain.
