Ancient Arowana is a type of fish and material found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
An Ancient Arowana can be eaten raw to recover 1 heart.
If cooked over an open flame, it will become Roasted Arowana, which can be eaten to recover 1 and a half hearts.
If a single Arowana is cooked in a Cooking Pot it will become a Fish Skewer, which can be eaten to recover two hearts, or potentially more under a Blood Moon or with a random critical success. It has no special cooking effect.
Yona requires an Ancient Arowana is to finish Restoring the Zora Armor.
They can often be found in the pools around the starting area on the Great Sky Island.
