Blue Pesto are enemies in The Minish Cap.[1] They are one of two variants of the Pesto, along with the Red Pesto.
The Minish Cap
Pestos are encountered while Link is in Minish size. The Blue Pesto will fly around while holding small boulders. If they fly on top of Link, they will drop the boulder on top of Link, dealing some damage. After they drop whatever item they were holding, they will hover near the ground and will charge towards Link if he is nearby. If there is another object nearby, such as a Pot, the Blue Pesto will pick it up and begin flying again. It will then attempt to drop that pot on top of Link.
The Blue Pesto doesn't have the best accuracy when dropping items and will regularly miss dropping the item on top of Link. When they are near the ground level, Link can defeat them with two slashes from the White Sword.
