Blue Deelers are enemies from The Adventure of Link.[1] They are one of the two variants of Deelers, along with the Red Deeler.
The Adventure of Link
Blue Deelers are found in the forests of Hyrule. They live in the branches of trees and descend on a silky thread to attack their prey.[2][3]
Blue Deelers are much more difficult than their Red Deeler counterparts. When they drop down from their string, they will detach from their string and begin to hop around, trying to attack Link. They also have more health than the Red Deeler and will take more hits to defeat. The best method to defeating them is to side-step the dealer when it drops down and then try to slash it with his sword to deal damage. Later in the quest when Link acquires the Jump Thrust, he can jump and attack the enemy while it is on its way down.
Blue Deelers are encountered in both Western Hyrule and Eastern Hyrule. While they are identical in appearance, the ones found in Eastern Hyrule will give Link more experience points when defeated.
