The Gold Kinstone Pieces are special Kinstones that are required to reach the Wind Ruins and Tower of Winds in The Minish Cap.
The Minish Cap
The first three obtainable Gold Kinstone Pieces are found in Castor Wilds. They are scattered about and Link must fuse them with the Mysterious Statues in order to proceed to the Fortress of Winds.
The next available piece is obtainable after completing the Temple of Droplets. When Link travels to the Royal Crypt and meets King Gustaf, he gives the hero a piece to fuse with the Source of the Flow at Veil Falls. The last five pieces are found in the Cloud Tops and fused with Mysterious Clouds to gain access to the Tower of Winds and, subsequently, Palace of Winds.
