The Great Swords are Ganondorf's only weapons in Hyrule Warriors. Ganondorf starts with Swords of Despair when he's unlocked after completing the second scenario in Valley of Seers in Legend Mode.
"A set of great swords brimming with dark power. Hold X/Y? at the end of a Combo Attack to fill your gauge. Press X/Y to unleash the collected energy in a powerful attack."

Unlocked in Adventure Mode by completing the challenge at grid C15? with an "A" rank after revealing its secret by using an Ice Arrow on the ring of fire.
