The Kokiri Boots are Link's initial footwear, and were crafted by the Kokiri race. They fit him both as a child, and as an adult. However, unlike the Iron Boots or the Hover Boots, the Kokiri Boots do not weigh Link down or give him the ability to hover in the air. In addition, they do allow him to float in any body of water. So there is nothing really special about them, other than that they are the only boots in the Zelda series that has it's own name.
The Kokiri Boots make their first appearance in Ocarina of Time and Link wears them throughout Majora's Mask.
