The Braced Shield is a shield from Skyward Sword.

Skyward Sword

The Braced Shield is the second and final upgrade to the wooden type of shield. It can be crafted by taking a Banded Shield to Gondo, the Scrap Shop owner and paying him 50 Rupees along with the necessary items to upgrade it.

This shield offers a much greater resistance to attacks than the Banded Shield. This Shield will also protect against electric attacks, but still won't block fire attacks and will burn to ashes because its still made of wood.
